So...Here's The Deal...

Yes, I haven't made a post in a few days but it's all good. I just wanted to update. I have many journey's that I'm taking, but the one I've been focusing on is my new eating habits. I've been on a healthy food journey since 2015 started. So far I've lost weight and I'm excited. So my starting weight was 240 lbs. Yes, you read right, 240 lbs. Now that was the weight from last summer and ever since then i stopped weighing myself because I honestly did not care about my weight. I was eating all the wrong things, fast food, processed food, over eating, all of that. When i went on my annual mini vacation to South Carolina I was 240 and probably gained more weight with all the eating i was doing. I knew I was overweight but it never bothered me honestly. I always felt that I was an attractive woman but I wanted to shed a few pounds. I feel like it's time for a change. So...My goal weight is 180lbs. I want to be realistic. I don't want to be "skinny". That's not the point, I want to eat clean, and be toned, and still have my curves.

Currently, I am 229 lbs ! I am out of the 230's and I am so excited. I lost that amount of weight JUST by changing my eating habits. No fast food, no processed food, and no junk food. I cook all of my food. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Now I'm not perfect, I love Chick-Fil-A, Sonic, Bush's Chicken etc. and I do have cheat days, BUT the only time i have cheat days is at lease once every two weeks. Most of the time I don't crave fast food like I used to. I feel that once I add the gym plus eating right, the weight will just melt off.

I cut a lot of foods out of my diet because I noticed that my body did not respond well to certain foods.

I cut out...

  1. Red Meats
  2. Pork
  3. Processed Food
    -Pizza Rolls
    -Bagel Bites
-Any type of TV Dinner etc.
  4. Juice
  5. Junk Food
    -chocolate
    -cookies (unless it's homemade)
    -chips
  6. White Bread
Like i said before, I do have cheat days, but it's not everyday. I've been teaching myself to monitor what I eat, and I have to gain more self control. I cook all of my food, having healthy home cooked meals makes it better. I've cut out pop/soda and juice years ago so that wasn't hard for me. Adding water as my drink of choice was the best choice I've ever made when it comes to being more healthy.
