Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat Invigorating Shampoo & Smooth as Silk Deep Moisture Conditioner

Soooo...If you're natural or transitioning then you should know about this product. This product is one of many holy grails of the natural hair community. When i seen it up close and personal i heard angels sing, i seen a halo of light around the beautiful shelf space where they sat ! lol I held them in my hand and in my mind i was doing my happy dance y'all lol but WHAM BAM THANK YOU MA'AM here is what i picked up...

When i went to one of my favorite stores to find some vitamin c tablets and some hair oils (The Vitamin Shoppe) I was so happy because i was looking all over the Giovanni products and i did not want to buy it online cause i didn't want to wait lol i know, so impatient. I heard so many great and positive stories about this product so i had to try it out since i'm transitioning again. When i was natural for 2 years i never tried these products because i could never find it. 

i purchased the Tea Tree Triple Treat Invigorating Shampoo and the Smooth As Silk Deep Moisture Conditioner. I normally do not shampoo every time i wash my hair because it strips all the moisture out of my hair, and for African American hair, that's just begging for breakage. I only shampoo my hair when i know my hair is dirty (ex. product build up, before a protective style, after i take down a protective style), so by this shampoo being organic and sulfate free, it will clean my hair and scalp without stripping all the oils out of my hair. (woop woop !!!!). If you only purchase animal cruelty free products i would like to let you know that this product is NOT i repeat NOT tested on animals.

Now with conditioner, i use it all the time. I use it when i co wash (washing with only conditioner) my hair and i use it when i mix it in my homemade deep conditioners (blog post coming soon). They say that this conditioner is really moisturizing and even though it says it's for "damaged hair", it's a natural's/transitioner's best friend. I washed my hair last week so sadly I have to wait until it's wash day BUT HONEY when wash day comes i'm going IN okay lol. I'm super excited about this product. 

Yeah, It's Been A While...

Wow, it's been a while since I made a post so i'm here to make a quick update. So i'm now in Columbus, GA and so far i like it a lot...i mean a lot...like A LOT more than Ft. Hood lol. The moving process was a lot to handle but it was not impossible. We arrived here on May 2, 2015 and got our furniture on the 4th (a day before my birthday) ! It was a lot of work but in the end it all worked out. I went on a mini vacation on the 27th of May to Myrtle Beach, SC and it was great just to get away for a while. As of right now i am not job hunting but i am in the process of starting back school in the Fall of 2015. That's a whole other story which i will talk more about at a later date. 

So now i will try to incorporate more into my blog, it will include more product reviews, results of certain products, and also my thoughts and concerns on certain topics...and whatever comes to my mind. There is more to come from me.
