a much needed make up haul.

Recently I went on a medium haul (large) and I purchased some hair care items and I also purchased some make up within the same month. I've been waiting patiently for the Urban Decay Naked Smoky palette to come out, and I got it almost two weeks later. I haven't done a make up look with this palette yet but when I do I will post it.

I picked up this beauty at Ulta and at first I was hesitant on getting it because it looks SO MUCH like Cyber by MAC but it's a matte finish instead of a satin finish. It has a soft creamy consistency so it glides on pretty good. I would line my lips with either a black liner, yes I said BLACK liner lol or night moth by MAC and blend it out.

I've been walking past these glitter eyeliners everytime I went into Ulta and when I seen the gold one I decided to buy these just to add them to my make up collection. Glitter is one of my favorite colors (yes, I consider glitter as a color, don't judge me) so i picked up four of them since it was buy one get one half off. I want to expieriment with these liners during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. I'm excited. I will defiantly post the make up looks that I create with this.

Hair Haul...One of Many.

Yes, I know it's been a while since I've posted but hey, I'm a busy woman. Well, in the middle of August and the beginning of September I've made some purchases. YES i know i need to calm down on spending, but i had to splurge a little (thanks to my boyfriend as well). So I will split my purchases up into two categories. In this post it's going to be all about the hair items I purchased. I am going to explain why I purchased these items and all that good stuff, so without further ado, here we go...

Hair Holy Grails

I've been obsessed with these products because my hair loves them oh so much. Of course as a natural or a transitioner you become a product junkie and yes i had my share of being one, but after all the money and trial and errors i finally found products that my hair adores.

Shea Moisture Transitioning Milk

I've been using Shea Moisture products since I started transitioning the first time (back in 2012) and i love how their products cater to my hair. This product in particular is seriously one of the best products I've used when I was natural and when i transitioned again. It makes your hair super soft and easy to detangle. Also this product smells so...dang...good okay. It honestly smells like vanilla cake batter and if you really know me, you know that i LOVE anything that smells like vanilla or cake batter. It smells good enough to eat. lol I defiantly recommend this product as a leave in conditioner, detangler, moisturizer and sealer, and for styling.

Giovanni Deep Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner

This is another favorite of mine. My last blog post talked about these products. I love them. I've never used the shampoo from the Deep Moisture line but i bet it's freaking awesome ! My hair loves the conditioner. As soon as it touches my hair my curls become more defined. They really mean DEEP MOISTURE because after i used this conditioner and i wash it out it feels like i still have conditioner in my hair (which means your hair high key loves it and took all the moisture in) my hair comes out super super soft and it feels hydrated. I do mix this product with my homemade deep conditioner (blog post really coming soon lol) but i do my best to save this product because it's not a lot of product in here if you use a lot of conditioner like i do (guilty as charged).

Tresemme' Naturals

I just recently invested into this product. A lot of naturals and transitioners praise this product so I said, "hey why not jump on the bandwagon". You guys, when i say I'm happy that I took that jump I honestly mean it ! I only use this conditioner in my homemade deep conditioners simply because it has

1. A lot of slip. which means it coats the hair really well and allows the hair to be more manageable.
2. It's a lot of product in here that can last me for almost a month at a time.
3. It's easy to mix with any other product. No struggle mixing over here lol.
4. It hydrates my hair. The Aloe Vera and Avocado helps give your hair and scalp moisture.
5. It smells good. lol it smells like a tropical smoothie in heaven.
6. it's cheap ! It's $4.49 so i mean you get a banging product for the low low lol vs. using all your Giovanni which is $7.99 each.

Now do you see why i use this for my deep conditioners only ? Yeah ;) lol

Alright well that's my hair haul purchases. I hope you all enjoyed this post and hopefully want to purchase these wonderful items and try something new.
